Who is the most underrated recruiter on the UGA Coaching Staff?

There is no question that the Georgia Bulldogs staff can recruit at a high level. Kriby Smart, Dan Lanning, and Todd Monken have been the headline names this year. Lets look at what staffers haven’t been recognized as much as they should be this recruiting cycle.

Jahmile Addae - DB Coach

Addae is in his first season in Athens, and he has played a major role in this teams success on the field and in the recruiting aspect. He has landed 4 commitments in his time at UGA. Lets take a look at who they are.

Malaki Starks (Saftey) - 15th player nationally

Jahiem Singletary (Defensive Back) - 18th player nationally

Julian “Julio” Humphrey (Defensive Back) - Top 100 player nationally

Marquis Groves-Killebrew (Defensive Back) - Top 15 DB nationally

Addae has been able to pick and chose his guys this cycle and he still has 1 or 2 more guys on his radar.

Other Targets:

Kamari Wilson (Saftey) - Top 20 nationally and the number 1 Saftey

Will Muschamp - Defensive Analyst

Another UGA staff member who is making a SPLASH in his first year! Kirby Smart hired his good buddy Will Muschamp back in Febuary of this year. Mushchaml hasn’t been the lead recruiter for every recruit but he has certainly played a role in a ton of recruiting battles this season. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest ones that he has completed or is involved in right now.

Kamari Wilson - This has been know for a while now. Muschamp has been in communication with the talented saftey since he was the head coach at South Carolina. Now, with just under 20 days until ESD and Wilson’s decision Muschamp will look to close this one out and add a commitment to his list.

Julian Humphrey - The former Florida commitment now Georgia verbal commit has formed a good relationship with Muschamp over the past few months. When Humphrey made his first visit to Athens this summer Muschamp immediately was one of the coaches who kept communication with Julian throughout the dead period. Muschamp made multiple visits to Humphrey’s games and made calls to him weekly. Not many people were more happy when Julian announced his commitment to UGA than Will Muschamp.
