Stetson Bennett Projected as a Day Two Pick by NFL Draft Analyst

Georgia is projected to dominate the NFL Draft once again this April. Last year they had 15 total players drafted. They won’t break that record this year, but they are going to put a lot of guys in the league. Most of the talk has been about Jalen Carter, Broderick Jones, and Nolan Smith going in the first round.

Well, there is a pretty good quarterback named Stetson Bennett who is also in the draft. NFL Draft Analyst had this to say about where he thinks Stetson lands. “He wins games, he’s a competitor… I think he will probably end up being a third-round selection.”

Stetson might not be the biggest quarterback, but it’s pretty hard to ignore what he has done in the past two years. He just knows how to win football games. He finished 29-3 as a starter in his UGA career and threw for over 8,000 yards and 66 touchdown passes in four years at Georgia. He is going to need a strong combine performance and fall into the right system, but if both of those can be achievable Stetson Bennett might just end up having a successful NFL career.

There are still three months until the combine, and in between now and that is the UGA pro day. Where all 32 teams come to the University of Georgia and will be able to get a close look at Stetson and all the other players who entered the draft perform drills and workout in front of them.
