Georgia Will Be Well Represented In Super Bowl 57.
The streak lives on! For the 22nd straight year Georgia will be represented by a player in the Super Bowl.
Championship weekend is now officially behind us. Super Bowl 57 will be a matchup between the two top teams in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles in Glendale, Arizona.
The Eagles have two key pieces from the 2021 National Championship team Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean. Jordan Davis only appeared in 10 games this season as he suffered an ankle injury in late October. So far he has recorded 18 total tackles and 8 solo tackles. Nakboe Dean also recorded stats in 10 games, but he usually came in during garbage time when the game was already decided. He will continue to fight for playing time in the off-season, but he has recorded 13 total tackles and 9 solo tackles on the year.
Kansas City also has two former Dawgs headed to the Super Bowl. Mecole Hardman has played a key role in the offense's success in Kansas City. So far this season he only played in 9 games. Injuries lingered with him all year, but he still put up some good numbers. 25 receptions, 297 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Finally, a very familiar name to most Dawg fans is Malik Herring. He only appeared in five total games. He recorded 6 tackles and 1 solo tackle on the year,
