Daniel Jeremiah Releases First Mock Draft
NFL Networks' Daniel Jeremiah just releaseed his first Mock Draft and he has a total of four Bulldogs in the first round
Over the past few years, Kirby Smart has become accustomed to putting Georgia players in the league. Last season he broke the modern-day record for most players drafted with 15. This year, that record won’t be broken but there will be a handful of Bulldogs hoping to hear their name called in April.
According to Daniel Jeremiah’s first mock draft of the year, he has the Chicago Bears snagging Jalen Carter at number 1. Broderick Jones goes 13th overall to the Jets. Two picks later the Packers select Nolan Smith and finally, Darnell Washington goes at pick 27 to the Cincinnati Bengals to not only give Joe Burrow an extra weapon but also give him some much-needed protection in the pocket.
It’s safe to say that Kirby’s pitch to recruits of come to Georgia, get developed, and then go to the NFL is gaining some credibility over the past three seasons.
