Daniel Calhoun Sets Summer Visit Schedule

One of the top offensive linemen in the country has started to map out his summer visits.

It has been a very busy spring for top 70 offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun and based on his visit schedules it’s going to get much busier. He recently transferred to Walton High School and will be preparing to help the Raiders make a run for the state championship during his senior season. Before he can do that, he will make a few stops around the country this summer for some visits.

He recently released a list of four schools that will receive a visit from Calhoun. Those schools consist of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. Those won’t be the only schools that he visits, but those are the ones that he has scheduled right now.

Chad Simmons broke the news that Georgia will get the first visit from Calhoun this summer.

Georgia has been linked to Daniel for a long time. He has made two visits up to Athens in the past few months including a visit during the Samford game back in September last year. Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searles made a very good impression on him and it has paid off. Calhoun will be in Athens June 3rd-5th which is usually a massive recruiting weekend for the Bulldogs every year.

He will be in Tuscaloosa, Alabama the following weekend. His father attended Alabama so that will always be a tough battle for any school to overcome. On June 16th he will head to another SEC school. The Tennessee Volunteers have been one of the teams that have been a constant in this recruitment One of his first offers and they have been in contact ever since. He has taken four visits to the Vols including the Kentucky and Florida games this past season. The Final school that he has scheduled right now is the Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns offered him in January of 2022 and got him on campus for a visit in April. They seem to be on the outside looking in as of right now, but if you're a school receiving a visit from a top prospect then you will take that start.

Calhoun is a monster at 6’6 350 pounds and will add a fantastic talent at any program he picks over the next few months.
